SPR has only been in business 5 years as of January 2021. We purchased two companies that have been in business longer (York-20 years; Cliff’s-5-10 years), but it’s almost 5 years for SPR. Our business has grown to 10 independent locations across Canada and the United States. The inventory of tools, machinery, and equipment that we sell and rent to the oil and gas, mining, heavy construction, shipbuilding, aerospace, defense, and power generation industries has grown exponentially as well. But there is one thing that has remained constant, our unwavering commitment to our customers. We’ve never lost sight of how important they are to the success of SPR.
How serious are we about customer service?
We’ve developed a nationwide footprint to improve logistics and control rising costs. We have experienced representatives available to answer clients’ questions 24/7 both in the office and at the job site. All of our service representatives are willing to go the extra mile and help their clients with any problem.

What kind of equipment do we offer?
At SPR, we offer a complete line of rental and purchase options for your portable machining and specialty equipment needs. We can assist you in designing, engineering, and producing special application tools, whether you are creating and adapting field machining products and fixtures or test and isolation tools. Our extensive experience in field services and specialty tools is an integral part of the support we provide.
From linear and rotary mills, OD and ID flange facing machines, exchanger mills, test and isolation plugs, and split frame and pipe lathes, we have what you need. If you need to make any custom adjustments, we can do it for you in-house.
